FAQ

Question?

What is different between a spinning class and classes offered at Velo Souplesse?

Answer:

At Velo Souplesse, we use advanced stationary equipment that utilizes your own bike. Our classes are geared towards improving your performance on the road whether you want to move from the "B group" to the "A group" on club rides, or want to compete in a specific discipline. Here's how it works.

Question?

Can I use any bike while training at Velo Souplesse?

Answer:

Not all bikes will work on our stationary cycling equipment. Standard road and triathlon bikes with smooth tires and quick-release levers are ideal. We do not recommend mountain, hybrid or comfort-style bicycles due to tire tread, which will give false readings on our equipment. If you are not sure, contact us and we can help you find out if your bike will work. If you're looking for a new bike, set up a consultation with us and discover what could be your next ride!

Question?

What are the classes like?

Answer:

Velo Souplesse classes utilize the same methods and techniques used by most serious cyclists to increase performance. You do not have to be a serious cyclist either. We cater to helping new cyclists grow, while you learn what your body is capable of. All riders take a field test to determine his or her training intensity zones. VS classes will hone in and target your intensity zones and make you stronger, faster and more efficient.

Question?

What is a bike fit?

Answer:

Bike fitting is the process of adjusting a bike to allow a more ergonomic body position on the bike. Improper body position on the bike can cause a wide range of aches and pains. Proper bike fit will improve comfort, efficiency and performance. Visit our bike fitting page for more info.
